Breaking the Stigma Around Mental Health

Tara Hebblethwaite is a mental health advocate who holds nothing back when talking about her own mental health struggles. As KW Women of the Year in 2018 and former Miss Oktoberfest in 2013, she believes she needs to share her story – including the good, the bad, and the ugly – in order to help others understand that fixing a mind should be as normalized as fixing a broken bone. In today’s episode we’re discussing why boundaries are essential, coping with mental health struggles, and why reaching out for help is the first step towards becoming your best self.
