My business is built almost entirely on referrals, and I’m so grateful for that - because it means my clients felt genuinely taken care of, and they trusted me enough to send their people my way. And to me, that’s everything.
What I love most about real estate isn’t just the houses - it’s the stories. The big life decisions happening behind the scenes. The chapters people are stepping into. I feel lucky every time someone lets me be part of a move that changes their life, because it’s never “just” a transaction. It’s personal.
Like when Glenn and Penny started Project Retire-To-The-Beach - I got to be part of that whole journey. Now Penny walks the beach in the morning, and Glenn plays pickleball with the neighbours, and I just love that… because that’s what a home really is. You’re not just choosing a property - you’re choosing a lifestyle, a rhythm, a feeling.
Or Kelly & Tom - after a long road, they were blessed with three little girls in two years (including twins!), and their townhouse near Downtown Kitchener suddenly felt tiny overnight. We found them the right lot and builder to create their dream home, and when it was time to sell, we prepped, marketed, and launched their home in a big way - and it sold over asking. Getting to help them create space for that next chapter meant everything.
And then there are the clients I’ve watched grow over the years - people I helped buy their first place, then they meet their person, start a family, and upgrade into the next home. I get to see their kids grow up on Facebook, celebrate milestones, and stay connected long after closing day. That’s the part that never gets old.
This work matters to me. The outcome matters, of course - but so does the experience. I want every buyer and seller I work with to feel supported, understood, and excited about what’s next. Because if you’re trusting me with a decision this big, you deserve someone who treats it like it matters - because it does.
